Dr. Uchenna Ogoke is currently an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Port Harcourt with research interest in Bio/Health Statistics.  She was an active member of the defunct Nigerian Statistical Association since her membership in 2010 where she served in various capacities as Rapporteur, Communique drafting, Committee, Scientific Chair at conference Sessions. As the NSA transited to CISON, she has continued to play vital roles in its activities. During the 1st annual conference Abuja, 2024, she was a member of NOC and now a member of the Governing Council. She has attended several conferences, workshops and trainings nationally and internationally. She continues to supervise and mentor students at undergraduate and post graduate levels. She is a fellow of CISON and Nigerian Malaria Modelling funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Dr. Ogoke is a consultant in applied statistics, disease modelling in R and other statistical software applications. She is widely travelled and has over 50 publications in reputable journals. She has won several awards and grants both nationally and internationally. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of UchPet Educational Foundation addressing youth empowerment through formal/informal Education, entrepreneurship and skills acquisition, etc. She enjoys reading, research and travelling.
