Bello Jaafar is currently the Editor-In-Chief of the Chartered Intitute of Logistics and Transport Nigeria, the immidiate past National Chairman of CILT Next Generation Nigeria having served in the Council of CILT Nigeria and the Nigerian Statistical Association (Business Manager). He is Chartered Member of the CILT and Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). Bello received several awards of excellence from renowned institutions and organizations across the globe.

Jaafar is a Social Entrepreneur, he has innovated couple of solutions using technology within maritime and logistics sector including automated traffic systems. He currently represents Nigerian Ports Authority at the Implementation Truck Electronic Call-up System among other ICT driven projects.

He is currently working with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) as an Assistant Manager.

Furthermore, Bello Jaafar’s background is Statistics and Information Technology. He attended numerous local and foreign trainings on leadership, ICT, marine and logistics. He is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in both private and public sectors of the Maritime, Transport and Oil/Gas Industries.
