The Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Statisticians of Nigeria (CISON) invites you,
Statisticians, Economists, Planners, Researchers’ as well as other members of your organization to its 1st Annual Statistical Conference and 1 st Pre-Conference Workshop to be held from 11th to 15th November 2024 in Abuja, Nigeria.

The 2024 Annual Conference with the theme “Mainstreaming Innovative Statistical Approaches to Understanding and Solving Nigeria’s Economic Challenges“, will take place from 13th to 15th November 2024 at Asaga Hall, Exclusive Serene Hotel and Suite, Plot 31, Reuben Okoya Crescent, by Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Wuye, FCT, Abuja. Nigeria. Also, the Pre-Conference Workshop on Quantitative and Qualitative Approaches to Statistical Analysis will take place from 11th to 12th November 2024 at the same venue. During the conference, the Chartered Institute of Statisticians of Nigeria will be formerly launched, with important government dignitaries expected to grace the occasion.

The participation fees are as stated below, while the Pre-Conference will cost seventy-five thousand naira (N75,000). The funds should be paid into the CISON’s Account No. 2045147966 at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd.

Note that apart from the conference fee, new members are expected to pay the sum of N60,000.00. This includes; New Registration fee of N30,000, Annual Dues of N20,000 and CISON’s Development Levy of N10,000. Also, these fees do not cover the accommodation and transportation of participants.
